As there are no price listings available, which is the core driver for my previews, thus, you have to be on your own before there's any disclosure upon the property prices for The Isthmus.


The name has a kick in it. However, some people might have problems pronouncing it.


Ismuf, Ithmes, Ifmus... Whatever, it's a Greek word.


Well, it's something refreshening coming up in Kuching. A well-planned CBD. Honestly? I favours it.

Alright, don't even ask. I don't know what happened to the pictures. Probably more attractive... in their ways. Again, a fascinating house with an great size and price, bothered by the location again.

Batu Kawa, and uprising township in Kuching, or preferably called MJC by Kuchingites, at 7km away from Kuching City Centre. Anyway, RM330K for a semi-detached, where could you possibly find this kind of price in Kuching? Even an intermediate terrace link could cost RM400K. To conclude it fast, it has potential. There's room for price hikes. As Kuching is slowly expanding out, but in which direction? I'm unsure, which I guess everyone's unsure as well. That's the reason I omitted the FOOH! for the house's potential. But is it worth it? Considering just the price and size, hell yes! But property's far more than just price and size.

One similar trait to Tabuan Tranquility, that Ibraco's the developer. Partially furnished with 6 units of air-conditioner, water heater, autogate and alarm systems, it is well located, which of course, Tabuan Jaya.

PropertyFella's Verdict:

New terrace lots by Ibraco for Tabuan Tranquility cost at least RM400K, intermediate. Thus, deducing from that, it's at least RM425K and above. So, given RM488K for the whole place, glancing from the pictures, minimal renovation costs of RM20K is inevitable. Thus, deducting the estimated price of the furnishings, say RM40K maximum, so eventually you are buying a corner terrace lot at around RM468K. Well, think it up, price is still negotiable, but after all, it's Tabuan.
